08 515 passes the site of the current Glenrothes for Thornton station with the Auchmuty trip bound for Thornton Yard - working wrong line. To the left is the structure used to house the Cornish beam engine used to clear the water from The Engine Pit. This mine was closed in the middle of the 19th century. June 1986
