47 604 passes Kennethmont box with the 10.25 Inverness to Aberdeen. Kennethmont is at the western end of the double track section from Insch. It had a small yard adjacent to the Ardmore bond which faced the ex-GNS box providing a lovely atmosphere in which to take photographs! June 1986
